Fergie
This is our foster mare Fergie on her first day at Circle H. Up to this time (at least for the last 5 years), Fergie led a very solitary existence, with little or no contact with geldings.
.As you can see, she had adapted very well to her new life here on the farm. We are not sure how old Fergie was, but we are sure she was the oldest horse in our herd.
We strove to give Fergie the best life we can offer, with lots of love, food and friendship!
We are very saddened that Fergie lost her fight against Cushing's Disease and old age on May 2, 2009. We miss her greatly, but please
weeks of her life, she
had a wonderful surge
of energy and was
handled every
day as Cheryl
was clipping her very
long hair every
evening
and Fergie loved it.
